Holliday: Johanna Ringo

Doc is not a fan, to say the least. I will say, I absolutely loved drawing her hair. It's a lot of fun pushing the mark making to show form and a light source. The design for her cornrows went through a lot of trail and error. I ended up going with really wide rows, which tends to still make her hard in appearance, but much more feminine than several smaller rows. It's a difficult design to pull off on caucasian women without going all Bo Derek, which I particularly don't care for.
